C17-18-CE-15Teacher - Cattle Production Management - Pontiac CampusThe College is seeking hourly paid professors to join a dynamic team to teach Continuing Education courses within the Cattle Production Management program in the Fall 2017 and Winter 2018 semesters.

152-L17-HR Soil Fertilization & Enrichment (75 hours from February 13th to May 7th, 2018)
Students learn how to associate bioproductive and soil enrichment processes to cultivation practices and how to choose agri-environmental fertilization strategies. At the end of the course, students will be able to: determine soil fertility, establish links between soil properties and fertility, foresee effect of fertilizer and enrichment on soils and crops, determine a crop rotation strategy, determine manure and mineral fertilization management strategies, and, determine soil and water management strategies.

152-L27-HR Development of a Crop Pesticide Program (45 hours from February 21st to April 18th, 2018)
In this course, students learn how to develop a crop program. At the end of the course, students will be able to assess the current state of fields, determine pesticide needs, and safely utilize chemicals in their fields. Determination of production targets, strategy selections, and structuring a realistic crop program provide students with the skills to validate a crop plan.

In a general way, the professor's teaching load shall include: preparation of course outline; preparation of classes, labs and fieldwork; teaching of classes, labs and fieldwork; adaptation; support and supervision of students; preparation, invigilation and correction of examinations; revision of corrections at the students' request.
    A bachelor's degree in a pertinent field or/and several years of teaching in the field will also be considered as an equivalency.
